Nokia announced their new mid range model Nokia 2710 classic and is expected for release in 2nd quarter of 2010. The 87g 2.2inch screen phone comes with 2gb card in the sales package and a support for 16gb micro sd card. However, the phone does not have 3g or wifi which is kinda let down for us. But at just Rs7600/- ($160approx), this seems to be a great deal.
The best thing about this phone is that it comes with free lifetime navigation of Nokia maps. This includes turn by turn navigation and voice guidance. Thumbs up Nokia. Finally navigation becomes affordable. We have seen similar offer in the recently announced Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition. But its price tag kept many users away from using it. Nokia 2710 aports a 2mp camera, 64mb internal memory and a 3.5mm audio jack. Nokia has also included Car mount and car charger in the sales package in select countries. Other features include built in compass, one touch acces to maps, ovi share etc
We recommend this phone for users looking for navigation as well as high storage capacity for less.
