Samsung India has just launched the Samsung Galaxy S5 in India. The phone was first announced at Mobile World Congress earlier this year. THe phone sports a 5.1 inch HD AMOLED display, an eight core Exynos processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage with expandable memory card slot, Android Kitkat, 16MP camera on the back with LED Flash that does full HD videos, a 2.1MP front facing camera, a finger print scanner and a 2800mAh battery.
Other notable features in the phone includes infrared for TV remote functionality, S-Health app, a heart rate sensor, 3G, WiFi, Bluettoth 4.0, USB 3.0 and NFC. Oh and the phone is also dust and water resistant. The phone sounds interesting with the specifications, but the design has been a great turn off to many. But you could still try to live with it by choosing the Shimmery white model or the Electric blue or the copper gold.
