Apple To Announce iOS 7 And Mac OS 10.9 This June 10th

Apple has just announced the WWDC 2013 event which is scheduled to be held from June 10-14th. The event will include the announcement of the new version of iOS and the Mac OS X along with several developer sessions and other activities. Apple CEO Tim Cook announced recently that Apple is not planning on any product announcements until Autumn this year. Announcing Mac OS 10.9 and iOS 7 to developers on June 10 will clearly be ready to ship to end users by Autumn after all the beta testing. Autumn will also mark the announcement of new iPhone, iPad and definitely new Macs. And who knows, if the rumours are true, Apple will also announce the long awaited Apple TV and iWatch. Time will tell.

If you’re an Apple developer intending to attend WWDC this year, note that tickets will go on sale on April 25th at 10AM PDT and will cost $1599. Also keep in mind that you have to be a registered developer already i.e. when this announcement was made. Any new registrations to the Apple developer program right now will not make you eligible to book a ticket for the event.
