iPhone 5 has been fantabulous. The phone is being sold like crazy. Apple is said to have sold 2 million units in just 24 hours. And that does not include the pre-orders. Apple also promised that this will be their fastest international roll out ever. Initially, Apple launched the phone in US, UK, Canada, Germany, HongKong, Singapore, France, Australia and Japan. Today, Apple is adding 22 other countries to the list of countries with iPhone 5 on sale. They are Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. Last year, within 7 days, Apple didn’t have iPhone selling in so many countries.
Apple will announce the next set of countries to receive the iPhone 5 today. A few south east Asian countries are expected to on the list. However, we do not expect India to be one of them. But there are certain rumours about India being in the next batch of countries after this. So one can expect the launch of iPhone 5 in India by October 12th. Are you waiting for the Indian Launch ? Or are you sourcing one from abroad ?
