Google introduced Google Wallet a few months ago. Initially, you were only able to just make payments using the embedded NFC chip and the app. But today, Google has added more features to it bringing convenience and more reasons to adopt the technology. Google has partnered with Container Store, Foot Locker, Guess, Jamba Juice, Macy’s, OfficeMax and Toys R Us and some of you may have already paid at these locations using Wallet. Today, Google also brings the ability to redeem coupons and earn reward points. All you have to do is continue to shop and the app does the rest. You can also find featured offers in the Offers tab in the app. Right now there are plenty of offers. These include 15% off at American Eagle Outfitters, 10% off at The Container Store, 15% off at Macy’s and an all-fruit smoothie for $2 at Jamba Juice. More are being added.
You can easily organize your loyalty cards. Footlocker, Guess, Office Max and American Eagle are giving loyalty cards to Google Wallet users. You can earn rewards point as you shop and use them when they can be redeemed.
Google has also made the transactions details for the prepaid card users in real time with all the information you want to know like Merchant name, Location, Dollar value and the time of transaction.
