Tether For BlackBerry Is On Sale: 50% off !

Comments Off on Tether For BlackBerry Is On Sale: 50% off !

Tether is an application that allows your PC to take advantage of your BlackBerry® smartphone’s data plan, allowing you to access the Internet on your laptop anywhere there is cellular coverage from your BlackBerry. Here’s a video of the app:

The reason we are posting this today is the price. Tether normally goes for a one time fee of $49.95, and its half off for a limited time, so just under 25 dollars. Thats the BlackBerry version, and theres an Android one too if you carry both. You dont have to buy blind either, there is a fully functional 7 day trial and the clock only starts when you run Tether for the first time. Test it on your own carrier first.

Setup is two downloads, one for the laptop and one for the BlackBerry, and if you would rather connect over Bluetooth you have to pair the device first. Windows and Mac both work, and Tether says its compatible with all BlackBerry smartphones. No tethering fee from them, you are simply using your phone’s data plan, and they claim download speeds up to 2,400 kbps. Do note that some carriers need the APN set manually and may charge extra for using it, and the app apparently doesnt work on the iDEN network. Theres a 30 day money back guarantee, no questions asked. If you were waiting for a sale on this one, this is it !!
