Samsung is already selling record breaking number of Samsung Galaxy S4s. But if you haven’t picked one yet, then here’s a phone worth looking at. Its the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. The phone has a 4.3qHD display, weighs 107g, sports an 8MP camera on the back and 1.9MP camera on the front, a 1.7GHz dual core processor, 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of storage of which about 5GB is free for you. There is a microSD slot for upto 64GB and the 1,900mAh battery is removable, which we always like.
It runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz and most of the big S4’s software came along. You get WatchON with the IR blaster to use the phone as a TV remote, Group Play, S Translator and Sound & Shot on the camera. S Health is here too, just without the barometer and the temperature and humidity sensors. Samsung hasnt told us which chipset is inside.
Three versions are coming, one with LTE, one 3G HSPA+ and a 3G dual SIM, and which one you get depends on your market. NFC is only on the LTE one. Colours are White Frost and Black Mist. No word on pricing yet. Samsung will show it off properly in London on June 20th, so stay tuned.
