Nimbuzz needs no introduction. If you are a smartphone user then you probably might have used this app. Nimbuzz is one of the best IM and low cost calling app. The new version 3.0 brings a lot of features to give you a great chatting experience. Here are the useful new features you will love. The tabs are customizable now, so you get to pick which ones show up and in what order. There is a Recent Calls tab for all your received, missed and outgoing calls, and a My Info tab for your profile, your NimbuzzOut credits, accounts, suggested friends and friend invites. If you use NimbuzzOut, the rate is shown in real time right below the number before you dial. No more guessing!!
Facebook Connect is the big one for us. The old versions had that annoying 400 contacts limit and kept breaking, and thats sorted now. You can also sort contacts by status, pick between two chat styles (with avatars or without) and three ways to view the contact list. Landscape mode makes much better use of the screen, and its tuned for Symbian^3, so N8 and C7 owners get the best of it, and the E7 whenever it finally ships. Older S60v5 phones run it too. Nimbuzz says over 300 bug fixes went in.
Grab it from m.nimbuzz.com. They say its coming to the Ovi Store too, so stay tuned.
