The Motorola XT883 Milestone 3 is Motorola’s latest flagship phone featuring a dual-core power, a big, bright 4.0 inch qHD screen with 24-bit color, and a five-row QWERTY keyboard. With the large QWERTY keyboard Motorola calls this phone as one of the best Business oriented phone for easy email communication, document editing and more. The sliding keyboard gets a dedicated number row on top, so no more hunting for the alt key to type a number. Quick Office comes preloaded for editing documents, presentations and spreadsheets on the go, and theres the usual business stuff like password protection, encryption and the option to wipe the phone.

The rest of the spec sheet is the Droid 3 that Verizon has in the US. Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a dual-core processor which Motorola says is twice as fast as the average single core chip, an 8MP camera with LED flash that shoots 1080p video, a front camera for video chat and upto 32GB of storage. It runs on China Telecom’s e-Surfing 3G network.

Frank Meng, Motorola Mobility’s president of Greater China, says “The Milestone brand invokes a sense of advanced intelligence and amazing speed, and we wanted to build upon that standard”. Motorola says the XT883 will be available from authorized Motorola resellers and China Telecom stores across China in the third quarter of 2011. No word on pricing yet. Stay tuned !!
