Today, Nokia has been very kind it seems. After 5530, its Nokia N85 now receiving the update. The new version is v31.002. Change log is unknown as usual. Nokia Messaging For Social Networks Beta 2 is out
As the beta labs announced on december 2nd, they have released the beta 2 version for the Nokia Messaging for Social networks. Along with bug fixes and stability improvements, it has also added the support for nokia 5800 and nokia n97 mini which was absent in the previous beta.

Nokia 5530 XpressMusic gets updated to version 20.0.080
Nokia 5530 received a firmware update today to version 20.0.080. Changes in the update are unknown. The update can be obtained through Nokia Software updater software for windows. The update is around 140MB. OTA(Over The Air) updation can also be done. The update size is only 17MB over the air The phone will preserve your data as it has UDP(User Data Prevention). But there is no harm in creating a back up and is also recommended. If you have found any change do share is here.

Google Phone Exists!!! Let’s call it Nexus One, Picture Inside
Rumors about the Google phone has been surfacing on the internet along with the apple tablet for a long time. But today we’ve got some clues. Google Vice President yesterday confirmed that they have been testing a new phone sporting an enhanced android OS. The phone is strictly available to its employees only.
Even though the phone has been named Google Phone, The Wall Street Journal calls it Nexus One. At the same time Tech crunch hinted that a google phone will soon be out and will be sold by Google directly independent of any careers.(Nice move Google !!!)
The photo is real and has been added by one of the bloggers who got a hand on from his friend who is probably a google employee.
Google employees have been tweeting a lot about the phone saying how awesome it is. The complete user experience of the phone has been designed by google.

Ovi Store Ad
I have seen plenty of ads on iphone apps and app store and I use to wonder why Nokia doesnt have any. Finally, I just came across two ads on youtube. So I thought I will share it with you guys. Its German TV ad I think. If Germans are seeing this, please confirm it for me in the comment section 🙂
Why does the apps in the ad have same icons as that of iphone apps ????
Nokia N79 and Nokia 5230 gets a minor firmware update
Nokia N79 got updated to version V32.001 today. There is no official change log yet. The update is available via NSU and OTA. So connect your phone to pc soon or dial *#0000#
Nokia 5230 also got updated to a new version today. The new version is V11.0.079 and can be obtained via NSU.
Changelog:
Camera : logical name “qtn_lcam_cmd_rename_image” (Rename image) displays in Options.
Calibration UI text layout is out of range
Chat messages goes to wrong window
Sometimes it is difficult to close the details pop-up
