It was on October 14th that Apple iPhone 4S went on sale. And in just three days it has sold over 4 million units. Thats just in six countries (USA, UK, France, Japan, Germany and Australia). Pre-orders went live on October 7th, and on day 1 itself all the careers sold record numbers including AT&T who reported 2,00,000 pre-orders in the first 12 hours.
iPhone 4 saw only 1.7 million pre-orders in 3 days back in 2010. So this translates to Twice the sales compared to last time. iPhone 4S may not have proved to be awesome in the very first day but Siri has impressed millions it seems. More than 25 Million customers have updated their device to iOS 5 and 20 million customers have moved to Apple’s iCloud. This is one of the biggest records in the tech history. We are very curious to see what the numbers would be like after October 28th when iPhone 4S is launched in 22 other countries. What are your predictions ??
