Apple Announces $10,000 Gift Card Winner: Is It You ?

Last week, we reported that Apple has been counting down to their 10 billionth app download and as a part of it, they announced that the user to download the 10 Billionth app will receive a $10,000 gift card.

And now the results have gone live. In a press release, Apple Said

The 10 billionth app downloaded, Paper Glider, was purchased by Gail Davis of Orpington, Kent, UK. As the winner of the App Store Countdown to 10 Billion Apps, Gail Davis will receive a $10,000 iTunes® Gift Card.

The Droids are back !!!

The droids are back for a war. This week had enough news from the android world. Lets take a look at them.
After long pause in the handset making business motorola is back on track with moto droid which sports a 3.7″ display, 843 pixels display, 5 megapixel camera etc. The phone will debut in the market on november 6th in the verizon network for $199 with a two year contract. The phone will run the latest android 2.0 os and is the first to device to get it. Google also announced free voice guided navigation for all the phones running android os 2. This will include 3d maps, recently updated maps and more. Google also announced their willingness to have these features in iphone if apple agrees. Nokia to open a video store ???

Internet is seriously discussing about nokia’s plan to start a video store. Nokia kickstarted their app store a month back which already has a audio and video section. However, lets hope that this store will contain full length movies and music videos. Anyway, I shall keep you updated. So stay with us.
