The folks at 9to5Mac are reporting that the next iPhone will most probably come in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities, just like the iPad. This comes right after the same guys found the new iPhone (the N94 device) sitting in Apple’s internal inventory system ahead of the October 4th event. Their sources say Apple has already prototyped 64GB versions, and if you remember, a 64GB iPhone 4 prototype was doing the rounds in China back in March, supposedly leaked out of Foxconn’s factory in Shenzhen.
Now there is a chance that Apple goes with 8GB, 16GB and 32GB instead. But 9to5Mac thinks thats unlikely since a tweaked iPhone 4 (N90A) also showed up in the same system, which is expected to be a budget 8GB iPhone 4 in black and white. Two 8GB iPhones side by side wouldnt make much sense.
