Nokia N9 Video Promo Leaks: The Next Sense
So we’re all waiting for that day when Nokia releases that powerful Meego Device with a hardware QWERTY keyboard and of course with Nokia’s Camera goodness too. Well then the wait is about to get over. Super eagle eyed folks at Pocketnow has managed to find the video promo of the Nokia N9. The video is a short and fast teaser and it shows a really thin slider with a full QWERTY keyboard sliding out and a camera that looks pretty much like the one on the N8. 12MP, Carl Zeiss lens, dual LED flash but with a smaller bump at the back.
But theres one confusing bit. The few glimpses you get of the screen look a lot like Symbian Anna and not Meego. So is this a Meego phone or not?? Well, a MeeGo page on Facebook posted the video calling it the promised N950/N9 running MeeGo and said the UI looks similar only because Nokia keeps the same icons and typeface across its devices. They also said a Nokia MeeGo device will be announced soon. But hold on, Nokia has since clarified that the page isnt an official one. There were even rumours a while back that the N9 was cancelled, so we arent taking anything for granted yet. The recent FCC filings do hint that the announcement isnt far away though. Check out the video below and let us know what you think in the comments.
