Following Flipkart’s announcement on the availability of LG Nexus 4 in India, today LG has officially announced the availability of Nexus 4 in India starting today. The phone is priced at Rs 25,999/-. LG Nexus 4 as you might know comes with a 4.7 inch display with 1280×720 resolutions, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM, an 8MP camera at the back with Photo Sphere, a 1.3MP shooter in front and a 2100mAh battery that can be charged wirelessly. It runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, so you get Google Now right away. Only the 16GB version is coming here, so dont go looking for the 8GB model.

LG says the phone will be sold through its exclusive brand shops, multi brand outlets and speciality stores across the country, and online as well. As for that Flipkart listing, they have it up for pre-order at Rs 25,990 and its expected to ship in the last week of May, so theres hardly any difference between the two prices.

Soon Kwon, Managing Director of LG Electronics India, says they are pleased to partner Google on the release of the Nexus 4 here. And LGs own Optimus G still sells at Rs 32,990 with pretty much the same hardware inside!! We are trying to get one in hand, so stay tuned.
