Apple has moved the estimated iPhone 4S shipping dates to 1-2 weeks on all official careers in almost all the countries it has initially launched the iPhone 4S pre-orders. They are United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Canada and Japan. At the beginning all careers had the shipping dates set for October 14th, but as pre-orders have sky rocketed, they have delayed the shipping dates to meet the soaring demand.
AT&T, one of the three official career for iPhone 4S in the US has reported over 2,00,00 pre-orders in just under 12 hours. And that’s a report from a career who is often blamed for poor coverage and reception. Verizon and Sprint hasn’t announced any numbers yet, but we can surely guess how high thats going to be.
Users have been pre-ordering both online and at the store since the very first second the pre-ordering went live. Some users reported longer downtime on online ordering as the store page crashed due to huge amount of users trying to place the order at the same time.
Its amazing how the response has been to the iPhone 4S. Although, many so called experts expressed their concerns over the product, it looks like nothing has stopped users from wanting one. One of the unique selling point of the iPhone 4S is the Siri integration which is a personal assistant. You can have natural conversations with assistant to get things done.
