4G phones are being revealed like anything at CES 2011 from almost all the brands. And may be here’s something for Apple users too. In a video found on youtube, a guy from globaldirectparts.com is demoing what it appears to be iPhone 4G or the iPhone 5. The 5 minute video gives a complete tour of the device. But let’s not forget the fact that this could be a fake news too.
What he shows is mostly the middle plate with the steel antenna band and the charging port flex cable, kept side by side with the iPhone 4 parts. The break points on the band (those black strips) have moved to different spots, so if its real, Apple may have finally done something about the antenna issue. The mute switch has shifted a little because of that too. There is a SIM slot on the frame, so this doesnt look like the CDMA iPhone for Verizon that everybody is waiting for. The site had even listed these parts as “OEM iPhone 5” and promised more videos on the LCD and motherboard.
And now the video is gone from youtube on a copyright claim from Apple, and the parts listings have vanished as well. That makes us think there is something to it. We’ll keep you posted.
