It’s amazing how curious are people are about iPhone. This new design comes from Giga.de who used all the leaks, rumors, case designs and believable mockups to create one beautiful design using CAD. Not only they just made a design mock up, they even made a real device using it. Yes, one you can actually hold in your own two hands, as they put it.
The back is machined out of a solid block of aluminium and then treated with glass pearls so it gets the same slightly rough touch we know from the iPad. The design has everything we’ve been hearing about, a larger display thats slightly wider than the iPhone 4, the teardrop profile that gets thinner towards the bottom, a wider touch home button and the mute switch moved up to the top right. Since nobody really knows what the camera will look like, that part is just left with an abbreviation on it.
Before you get too excited, the device doesnt work, its just for the looks. But it sure is sexy !! There is a video too on the Giga page. Anyway, we dont have to wait much longer, Apple is showing the real thing next Tuesday, October 4th. Stay tuned.
