Wearable devices are the future. But it sure doesn’t look like its India’s future. We’re still catching up on smartphone race. Yes, we have one of the largest smartphone subscriber base, but considering our population and lifestyle, they’re still a strong part of us and doesn’t leave any room for wearable devices.
Samsung launched the latest Galaxy Gear a little while back for Rs 22,290/- and it doesn’t look like it went well. Or lets say, it went so bad that Samsung is now giving a 40% discount on the actual MRP. The price at which the device now retails is Rs 14,999/-. At this price, it sure looks attractive. But then again, MWC 2014 is around the corner and this means that Samsung may have a new one coming soon. But if you were already looking for a watch at this budget, then I suggest going for the Galaxy Gear. Go trendy !!
