Famous location based app has received a minor update today. the update brings a worldwide button making it easier to stay in touch with friends around the globe. And the inclusion of new friend finder button makes it easier than ever to find your friends who are already on Foursquare.Click Here To Download The Update.
If you were wondering where the new friend finder is, its sitting on your profile screen, bottom right corner. Foursquare says its for finding your friends who are already on the service, so no more hunting around for them. The worldwide button does what the name says, it lets you keep up with friends all over the world, which is handy for those of us with people spread between India and the UAE.
This is the first update since version 3.0.2 landed on April 20th, and that one was just a small bug fix release. The big one was 3.0 back in March with the Explore tab for finding places to go. So dont expect anything dramatic this time, its mostly about friends.
The app is free as always and needs iOS 4.0 or later, and it runs on the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. We are updating ours right now and will let you know how the worldwide button works out. Stay tuned!!
