This page explains how MyMobileScoop makes money, or intends to, and what that means for what you read here. It is written to be read before you trust a recommendation.

Some links on this site may earn a commission if you buy something after clicking them. The price you pay is unchanged. Where a post contains affiliate links, it says so at the top of that post.
I intend to join retailer affiliate programmes including Amazon Associates. When that happens, this page will name them.
A commission never determines a verdict. If a product is not worth buying, the post says so, and the link stays only so you can check the price yourself.
Review units and gifted products
Brands sometimes lend or give hardware for review. Between 2010 and 2013 this site reviewed devices supplied by manufacturers including Nokia, Sony, Samsung, Huawei, BlackBerry and TP-Link.
Where a product was supplied rather than bought, the post says so, and says whether it was returned or kept. Accepting a device never comes with any agreement about what the review will say, and I do not send drafts to brands before publishing.
Sponsored content
If a post is paid for, it is labelled as sponsored at the top, in plain language, before the first paragraph. I do not publish paid links inside otherwise editorial posts.
Advertising
The site may carry display advertising. Advertisers have no say in editorial content and no advance sight of it.
Press releases
Manufacturer announcements are rewritten in my own words or not published. This site does not run press releases as articles.
