The Nokia Tale

I bought my phone on 3rd January 2009. The phone worked very well eventhough i wasnt pretty much happy with symbian os. But since purchase, my phone use to lose sound while in a call. So january 9th i went to nokia care and they fixed it. Then phone started working well but then it often restarted while working. I took it nokia care in february and they said that could be a virus and they formatted my phone and memory card. I lost my contacts, calendar and all the settings and customizations i have done. They gave me the phone back and the same restarting problem continued in march for which i again went to the nokia care, in april and in may. All the time they sighted a chance for virus attack and they formatted my phone. That never fixed my problem and i got sick of visiting nokia care.
Finally i spoke to a very famous tech blogger who assured me nokia 5800 will not get viruses due to the signing procedure. I felt sad, angry and pity (on nokia). Just imagine nokia people itself doesnt know about their stuff. So i wrote a mail to nokia telling all this and they asked me to submit phone for one more time. I reluctantly submitted the phone and its my final hope. Just imagine in 7 months a phone visits its service centre 6 times.
So guys, share your experiences with your phone and how the manufacturer delt with it. Its time we look into who provides best after sales service.
