Apple’s legendary designer Jonathan Ive has been chosen to be honored with Knighthood on New Year’s eve this year by the Queen of United Kingdom. For his excellence in services to design and enterprise, he will now be one of the tech’s most successful legendaries who enjoy this position. Currently, Bill Gates, Richard Branson etc are a few others who have been given this title.
Jonathan Ive is responsible for most of the Apple devices’ design like the unibody Macs, iPhone 4/4S etc that are available in the market today. Ive has a Bachelors of Arts and honorary doctorate from Newcastle Polytechnic. Ive has been responsible for the lead design team at Apple since 1996 which is regarded as one of the world’s best.
